Kimball preferred method to watch Conference is from the viewpoint of his basketball! He learned the word, "Prophet" and "hymm." I printed out a note taking packet for him...but he was more interested in coloring in my notebook! It was great to listen to the words of the servants of God! Each talk touched and inspired me. It really filled my spiritual bucket. Thanks honey for letting me concentrate and take notes, while you "helped" Kimball watch it! Kimball "watched" conference, but would frequently sneak out the dog door to play in the beautiful sunshine--hey you don't get that often here in Seattle! I can't wait until he is a little bit older and we can play bingo, kew word, and topic matching. Maybe in October. We bribed him with promises of bubbles and kite flying after they said the closing prayer. Everytime a new speaker would get up, he would look at me and say, "Prayer?" Kimball loved flying the kite! He would run around in circles under the kite! Encouraging it and clapping for it. When the kite would drop to the ground, he would say, "Wake up Elmo! Wake up!" It was adorable. This is the first time he was actually flying it...not the best example of him running around which he was really enjoying. He would have stayed out there all day! Here is a little movie of his first time flying the kite. I am not the best movie maker--sorry if it makes you sick! This is for you Jim! Wish you were here to fly it with us!
Kimball's smile brightens my day. I bet he had a blast flying that kite. Are you coming down for Jessie's wedding? If so, we need to get together. Have a great Easter.
Set-up: Daddy was shaving his face and Kimball was watching very closely Daddy: Kimball - would you like to shave with daddy? Kimball: No daddy Daddy: Are you chicken? Kimball: No daddy, I'm a doggy! Ruff Ruff!
Set-up: Listening to the baby's heart for the first time, Kimball: Race car fast! Vroom! Vroom!
Set-up: Mommy was tired of playing outside Mommy: Go play catch with the doggies outside. Kimball (disgusted face): Mommy, doggies no have hands!
Ok. Not really. We have always been curious as to who and where are readers are hiding. Well, although we won't know WHO you are, at least now we will know WHERE you are.
This one really breaks it down...

So cute! That cracks me up that he snuck out the doggy-door. If Yoda was big enough I'm sure Corbin would have done the same thing!
