He will now wear a hat for about 5 seconds, hence the picture. Kimball insists on feeding himself and loves it when I give him part of my chocolate bar! He points to what he wants and says, "Dat! Dat!"
He still loves balls! Anything that is round is a ball from grapes to people's heads. He LOVES it when we go to target! He loves to read books and spends at least a half an hour in my lap every day! One night, we couldn't find Kimball, he was up in his room reading books!
Kimball loves to run and jump. People are always amazed at his coordination and jumping skills! He certainly keeps me on my toes! He tries so hard to play with the older boys on our street as they play keep away after school. They laugh at him and are pretty good at not knocking him over. He makes them laugh at his intensity. He "air dribbles" the basketball and gets frustrated that the ball doesn't cooperate!
He now plays cars with anything that is square (door stops, boxes) driving them on walls and on people's legs. He rides his balls around in his little jeep!
The other day, we were blowing dandelions, and he finally realized you have to blow them. Well, he put it too close to his mouth and got a mouthful of dandelion. He looked at me with a panicked look and I had to snap his picture--you can barely see the fly away seeds. He was furiously spitting them out! Then, I wiped out his mouth.
He has been taking showers with Dusty on Saturdays. On Monday, he put his back under the faucet and loves the feeling of warm water on his back! He cries when I turn off the water or try to move him away from it! No more baths for Kimball!
